Electric Mosquito repellent
OUCH! That makes 27 bites this year. Will I ever find a way to keep those darn mosquitoes off me for good? That was pretty much my attitude last summer. Once that blistering heat and humidity hit, you can plan on getting a few bug bites while enjoying the outdoors. Especially for those of us who reside in humid climates. I won't even get started on Florida. You see, the mosquitoes love the humidity. So if you live near water, you probably have even more than the rest of us lurking around your home. What you need to deal with this situation is an electronic mosquito repellent. You can set up a mosquito magnet just outside of your home and they will gradually stop coming around. Seriously!
I have always been an avid user of mosquito repellant with DEET. That is the key ingredient that always seems to work. As I mentioned, or whined about actually, last summer I forgot my mosquito repellent before venturing out on a week long camping trip with my brother. This was hell as far as the mosquito problem was concerned. We're talking down south in the middle of July. NOT a great time to take off in the great outdoors without bug spray or an electronic mosquito repellent of some sort. I got bit over and over again. The funny thing is I wasn't too concerned about the itch factor. I was more worried about contracting the West Nile virus. YUCK! I definitely don't want anything to do with this health affliction. Just a heads-up, there is no cure for it. This is why having a DEET bug spray during the spring and summer months is imperative. Use your mosquito repellent every time you head outdoors. It may be stinky, but it's worth it. Furthermore, now days you can invest in an electronic mosquito repellent such as a mosquito magnet. These will literally keep the mosquitoes away from your home's exterior. With a high-tech electronic mosquito repellent you can lounge on your back porch without the bug spray in-hand.
I was able to see an electronic mosquito repellent magnet work in person. Last fall while visiting my father in Iowa, I noticed a bizarre device on his deck. He informed me it was a mosquito magnet and that it worked miracles. SWEET! You'd better believe I'll have one before this summer hits.
